Why We Built QualCars
We got sick of the same two options every Australian faces when selling a car: pay $80 to $100 per listing on Carsales, or deal with the chaos of Facebook Marketplace. Lowballers, no-shows, and buyers who ghost you after three days of messages.
And buying is not much better. Dealerships mark up prices to cover their overheads and commissions. Private sales are cheaper, but most buyers do not know where to start and sellers rarely provide enough info upfront.
So we built QualCars. A simple, clean platform where private sellers can list for free, buyers get service history before they even reach out, and nobody has to deal with dealers or dodgy listings.
We are two Aussie blokes from Brisbane who think buying and selling a car should be straightforward. So we are making it that way.
